  17. Chloe, over the years you have apparently lost touch with the real world and the average consumer. The amounts of money you spend on some items is breathtaking. And then real python? Really? Could you not have found anything else to spend your over abundance of money on but cruelty? Your display of wealth has become vulgar most days. I will stick to other shopping blogs that are more grounded and relatable. I can't imagine spending even 1k on a pair of ballet flats, even if I had the money, when there are so many needy organizations and reasonable other shopping options. When you used to shop more cheaply, it was interesting to watch you put things together. But now, when you can and do spend thousands on one item, it's easy to look polished.

  18. The Little Dust Princess - isn't that blouse the best? I think I snapped it up for about $20, and I couldn't belieeeve how long it sat on super sale on gap.com without anyone else grabbing it. It washes up like a dream, too...which is good, because I also wear it a lot, hee hee hee. <3

    Kimberly - hi-five!

Faye - aw, thank you! ♥

Natasha - Yay! The skirt is such a great color and so fun to play with--can't wait to see how you style yours, too.

Carol - YES. YOU DO. I wasn't sure how versatile the color would be when I purchased them, but they're such a unique color that they almost go with anything. I also like that they're red without being "in-your-face-mickey-mouse" bright, whew.

Mary Ann - oh shoot, I forgot to link it. It's from F21 of all places, believe it or not!

RosaLovesDC- aw, thank you Rosa. Love you. ♥

Huckleberry Finn - Forgot to link it, shoot. It's from Forever 21--you can buy it here!

CharlotteSometimes - I enjoy cultivating my personal style as a hobby and I also enjoy sharing it with others here on my blog. I know that my personal style has evolved over the years and will not always be everyone's cup of tea...but we are all allowed to have our different preferences and opinions, which is what makes this beautiful world go 'round. It is also what I love most about fashion and style.

While I always *hate* losing a reader, I agree that you should read fashion & style blogs that fit more to your personal aesthetic. Thankfully, there are lots out there! This will also be the last time that I will be addressing your comments, since both they and my responses are quickly becoming redundant. As a fellow mid-westerner I sincerely wish you nothing but the best, Charlotte! Stay warm this chilly winter + take care. ♥

  20. Love both of these outfits! The U.O. yellow blouse looks like a potential dupe for an Ann Taylor yellow shirt I've been eyeing in their spring arrivals. While browsing Nordies Rack with Alterations Needed last week, we spotted a Rachel Zoe trench jacket and I instantly recognized it as the one you have. We happily petted it but left it behind as it was a sz 8.

  21. So far I have loved every outfit you've done with those pants. I think it might be a sign...

  22. I really need some pretty blouses for work and every one you wear would be perfect! What websites would you recomment without spending a fortune on blouses for the office?

  23. I love, love, love the Auden Devon Crystal Necklace you have-- Do you have any recommendations for something similar and less expensive?
