Outfit Of The Day (Sparkle, Sparkle)

I stuck my head out of our front door earlier and couldn't figure out why it smelled like Christmas on the front stoop.  Had the cold weather rolled in?  No, the sun was still out, it's still 90 degrees.  Did somebody accidentally drop a plate of cookies and glass of milk into the bushes?  No no, after a few minutes of searching I found no clear evidence of one Mr. Claus accidentally leaving his snacks in our shrubs.  Reindeer hoof marks on our lawn again?  Strangely enough, none of that either.

Ohhhh.  It smelled like Christmas because the UPS dude decided to play kickball with his UPS friends using my box as the ball, then took my box on all of the extreme roller coasters at Six Flags, and then smashed my box to smithereens and left it on top of my doormat!  My box full of Autumn, Leaves, and Cinnamon Stick Wallflowers from Bath & Body Works!

Yay!  Monday!  Yay!

(strangely, I'm not so upset; cinnamon-scents always makes me happy no matter what abused & trampled form they come in and anyone that knows me will tell you that I have always strongly believed that potpourri for stoops is the most overlooked sector of the Air Freshener industry...)

  3. I really like the topshop top with the longer necklace overlayed. It begins to look like a part of the shirt.

  4. Chloe, you have the best descriptions. It's as if I'm a fly buzzing around your front steps when you realized what the postman did lol.

Love the wide-legged pants on you!

  6. I must say, I really love this silhouette on you! It's seems so far from you're usual, but I find it incredibly flattering!
Also, I wonder if delivery folk avoid contact when they have to drop off something mangled, like you won't know it was them if they don't knock. Surely you will think it was Mr. Incredibly Drunk Neighbor Guy jumping on your package like a trampoline, not him... Or perhaps it's a modified version of Ding Dong Dash...

  7. Hey Chloe! I love the outfit. I had ordered that topshop top last week, and returned it. I loved the pattern, but i', 5'7" and it was too short on me I felt. But it looks excellent on you! :)

  14. You look so amazing.... I want to steal this entire outfit. I would probably look schlumpy and comfortable instead of chic and swingy though. dang.

  17. (totally off-topic from your post)

Hi Chloe - are you getting ANY of the emails I send to your gmail account?? Unless your swamped with emails from random readers......??

  18. I, unlike your other, *ahem*, less astute readers, notice the odd patch of paint every time you post and I keep wishing wishing wishing for a little update on your house project. I'm secretly root-a-toot-tooting for a certain color and hoping I'm successfully telepathing it through the bits and bytes.
I mean, don't get me wrong, I am all about your clothes. I would even consider an even trade: my large bag of candy corn for your closet if you would be willing to throw Petunia in on the deal... But I'll only take her without her PukeyPantalones. We have had our fill on kitty puke here, and are not currently accepting any further puke, whether it is cat or dog in nature. Thank you for your interest in trading the doggie puke, though. We look forward to doing business with you soon. Also, one hugely obese cat for sale or rent to own. Please ignore the puke comment above...

  19. I just found your blog from Jill's Good Life For Less. =) I'm loving all your outfits! By the way, how tall are you? You look teeny! I'm 5'2." Buying pants can be a pain sometimes.
