So I was quite excited today, readers, when I saw my J Crew order was due to arrive. Yay! Just the thing I needed to

And I was *so excited* to see it in person.
Well, are you guys excited? I hope so! Because here it is! Ta da!
Huh. It took me by surprise at first too, readers. And I had to check my invoice to make sure they sent me the right thing:
The bag is a little smaller than I thought it was going to be, but aren't small bags all the rage now? They are! It's also round (it looks more square in the pic on the website) but that's okay too, I don't have many circular-shaped handbags.
But the color is so pretty, and it also has an included money-clip attached to the back! How genius is that? Pure genius, J Crew! So all in all I like it, and I think it's totally a keeper.
Like with most of my bags, Petunia wanted a turn modeling inside of it. But quite frankly readers, I think Petunia has gained a bit of weight lately, because the poor dear really couldn't fit inside of it. How embarrassing.
I let her model it anyway, so as not to hurt her feelings:

PS- I have to add this, because hey! We all make mistakes. Turns out that isn't the actual clutch, and J Crew accidentally sent me a $10 Crewcuts hairpin instead. I know, I'm just as shocked as you are.
After a quick email to J Crew explaining the situation, they responded (within a very fast 45 minutes) instructing me to order another clutch, select overnight shipping, and they'd comp it all. Nice! Way to make it right- and like I said, we all make mistakes. So the real clutch (and real review) will be here Friday. Stay tuned.
PPS- And I know, I can't read or write or say or type "the situation" anymore without immediately thinking of the well-groomed and highly-principled cast of MTV's Jersey Shore, either. For shame.
