A few things, readers. One- the rose picture on the wall is not crooked, I promise. The floors and sofa in my sitting room also aren't crooked. And I'm not crooked.
It's my camera on the tripod. You see, the lenses + flash are so heavy that it all tips it to the side, and no matter what I do I can't get the (cheap, flimsy) tripod to support the weight of it all. I actually have a really fancy thing rigged up to keep it all level, and I was totally going to take a picture of it to show you guys- but then I realized that I've essentially tied my entire camera to the tripod with bright red Christmas ribbon. In several places. And in big knots.
So I can't take a picture. I can't even take it off the tripod. Like I said- fancy. But occasionally the system fails a bit. I need more Christmas ribbon.
Two- I fell in love with the Alexander Wang Eliza wedges after spying them on Shopbop, and when I found out that they also came in nude? Sold! I have a slightly bad obsession for weird shoes. The Alexander Wang wedges aren't weird-weird, but it was a close finish between the Eliza Wedges and the Opening Ceremony Long Cuff Sandals. The Alexander Wang wedges won by a coin toss.
And to make up for it, I scored these on Thursday on HUGE MASSIVE SALE (I'm talking 84% off, not kidding- $100). See guys? Weird shoes. I love them! It's a secret little obsession of mine that I try to keep under wraps here, but occasionally it just pops right out in the form of horrendous shearling trimmed wedge booties. What can I do? Nothing except bravely rock the shit out of them. Mission accepted.
But dear Shopbop, the Eliza babies are most definitely 5 inches, not 4 inches. Yow. And dear readers, you will get better pictures of them once I've had a decent pedicure.

Chloe, Colorful Colorado. 5'8" (only) when teetering in her highest 6 inch Miu Miu platform heels.
