A quick cogitation- has anyone else seen the upcoming January 2010 issue of Marie Claire with Natalie Portman in the blue strapless Lanvin frock? That, readers- that is how you sell a magazine. Even if most magazines do make their front cover figurines look suspiciously like wax statues from Madame Tussuad's; all odd and bizarrely glowing and glistening like they routinely wash their faces with the butt of a fuzzy baby harp seal, and eat their daily morning breakfast of Cap N' Crunch soaked in uranium.

I spotted the magazine with Ms. Portman last night at Safeway (yes, we spent our Saturday night at the grocery store) (IT HAPPENS PEOPLE), shrieked, and before I knew it I had flung the $3.99 copy into the grocery cart even though I am pretty sure I have a subscription to said magazine. Pretty sure, but not wholly positive, and such as (in South Africa, and the Iraq, everywhere like such as… and, I believe they should uh, our education over here, in the U.S. should help the U.S. or should help South Africa, and should help the Iraq and Asian countries so we will be able to build up our future, for us).
I also (in a moment of complete admitted weakness, readers) grabbed this as well, because anything with the world "ULTIMATE" in the title makes me feel like a WWF wrestler and deserves an immediate purchase. I'm not making just mac n' cheeese for dinner, I AM MAKING ULTIMATE MAC N' CHEESE FOR DINNER!!! (!!!) (!!!) (Also, hello? Picture of macaroni and cheese on the front. Srsly. Sold).
