It's getting down to the wire. Do you have your Xmas shopping finished? I don't. I'm just so not into it this year, readers. I wonder if it's okay if I just hold the unwrapped item behind my back, and with a flourish of hand motions (and maybe even a little song and dance) present the gift to the receiver with a "TA DA!" 'cuz gosh, that'd be so much easier.
Although I did pick up oh, about 10 things of wrapping paper at Target last night. That's the problem with us design freaks- I can't just wrap a present, oh no. I have to spend several minutes hemming and hawing over the design, the gift tags, and the bows to match, picking up several rolls and putting them back down again as I really think about what I want the viewer to feel as they stare at my wrapped creation.
And on a completely unrelated note, Husband informed me last night at Target, as we were standing in the gift wrap aisle, that his STARE OF DEATH isn't so much a stare as it is a feeling. But sometimes it's both. Weird.
