Outfit of the Day (Chloe Comes Out Of The Closet.)

I typically shoot my pictures in my walk-in closet because I'm lazy (and it's huge windows make for perfect lighting) but last night I decided that I needed a change of scenery. So I moved everything down to our main floor sitting room area and back deck. I came out of the closet! I am so brilliant! And I am so funny! Ha ha har, knee slap knee slap knee slap.

I am pretty pleased with how these turned out, honestly- my camera really picked up the soft lighting in the room and on the deck, especially since the sun was setting to the west. I might just have to venture out of the closet more often. I can't make any bold promises, but we'll see.

On to the outfit. I would like to say thanks! to the lovely lady over at A Bigger Closet for reminding me how ridiculously pretty the J. Crew Grenada Palm cami is- after I saw it on her (again) last week, I managed to snag it (new-with-tags) on Ebay. It's a size larger than I normally wear in J Crew but that's fine- it's supposed to have a looser, more drapey shape. The colors are a pretty combination of brown and pink, not brown and orange- no matter how hard I try, my photo editor wants to make everything orange given the lighting and backdrop I was using. It looks pretty much exactly like how it looks on the model in real life- a vibrant pink print on a warm, soft cocoa background. I love it.

♥ About...

Chloe, Colorful Colorado. 5'8" (only) when teetering in her highest 6 inch Miu Miu platform heels. Likes fashion, broccoli, ice cream, clarifying that she does not eat ice cream with her broccoli as to not cause worldwide panic, hoarding beauty products & pretty shoes, tickle fights with her husband (he would like to clarify that he does not like them back, OKAY?), anything covered in sprinkles, any alcoholic beverage made with Tang, live music, clicking the camera, sarcasm fonts, vases stuffed full of pretty flowers, and laughing hard until her belly hurts. Wants an adventurous life, lots of puppies, to never obtusely wander around with her fly down, and to be an iconic Diane Von Furstenberg wrap dress with a bright, festive print when she grows up. This is where she bravely documents it all. (oh you really want more, do you?)
